Abstract

The kinetic data of the contact melting of metals with solid solutions on the basis of Sn, Pb, Cd and Tl with alkali-earth metal additions at presence of an electromigration in contact layers have been presented. The formation of the intermetallides has been revealed with the help of X-rays phase analysis of contact layers. The correlations between the speed of contact melting and some physicochemical properties of solid solutions have been analyzed.
