Abstract

Wettability of calcium fluoride by the nickel - titanium alloys at temperatures 1000 - 1300 °C is investigated. Contact angle values are more than 90 deg. It has allowed melting a Ni–45% (mas.) Ti shape memory alloy in galogenide crucibles.
