Abstract

Interacting of two spatially orthogonal systems of cracks is observed. That are flat periodic system of rectilinear cracks and double periodic system parallel pore channels with cross-section in the form of star-like three-beam crack. Local stress intensity factors (SIF) along front of the main crack (МC) which intersects a plane of a channel crack under angles 0, 30, 60 and 90° are obtained. It is shown that fragmentation of MC front at intersection of variously oriented channel cracks leads to local SIFs, more than twice different from an average SIFs at the MC front.
