Abstract

On the base of the model of an elastic-plastic deformation of isotropic porous materials that characterized by different resistance under tensile and compression loading, the consolidation process of the core during the powder wire drawing is examined using computer simulation. It was established the dependence of the consolidation behavior of the powder core on the initial porosity and the fraction of the flat defects.
