Abstract

Morphological features of formation of structure of the joints on nickel superalloy IN-718, produced by vacuum brazing using filler metals based on the Pd?Ni?Cr?(Si, B, Ge, Co) system, were studied. It is shown that the palladium filler metal Pd?Ni?Cr?Ge provides stable results on shorttime tensile strength 1230?1290 and 1000?1030 MPa at room and increased (550 °C) temperatures, equal to, respectively, as well as a minimal value of long-time strength equal to 132 h under conditions of continuously applied stresses of 785 MPa and increased temperatures (550 °C).
