Abstract

A furnace infiltration has been suggested as a method to obtain two-layered composite coatings differing in metal binder composition but reinforced with filler made of tungsten carbides. The peculiarities in the structure formation and the properties of the interfaces between the layers of the composite coatings or their structural constituents have been described.
