Abstract

The paper deals with determining one of the technological properties of metal powders, such as density of a powder after its shaking down. The objective of this study is to analyze the state standard in force on the determination of the density of metal powders after their shaking down, taking into account operational experience in the field of powder metallurgy. It is established that the methods identified in the standard for determining the density of metal powders have contradictions and discrepancies. A simple and reliable device is pro¬posed and manufactured for mechanical shaking of powders.
