Abstract

The effect of pulsed high-voltage electrical discharge (HVED) treatment on the mor-phometric, adsorption-structural, and mechanical properties of diamond abrasive and micropowders is examined. These properties largely determine the efficiency and wear re¬sistance of abrasive tools for machining process. It is shown that pulsed HVED treatment is effective for the production of diamond abrasive and micropowders with low impurity content and high abrasive ability.
