Abstract

The paper studies the density and porosity of samples from 44NKHTYU elinvar alloy formed by power technology methods, spray process, and electron-beam remelting. It is shown that spray process and solid-phase sintering of powders over a narrow remelting tem¬perature range are the most promising. They can be used to make samples and products whose density and porosity are close to those of the as-cast alloy, the metallic yield being increased.
