Abstract

The addition of fibers to the porous powder structure to decrease shrinkage is proposed. A method is developed to determine pressure that leads to powder shrinkage during sintering. The pressure leading to shrinkage of PMS-N copper powder of fraction 63–100 µm is determined experimentally. The main peculiarities in sintering of powder–fiber structures are revealed.
