Abstract

There are examined physicochemical features of the processes of iron oxides reduction (in the form of multicomponent scale wastes) in various gases: Н2, СН4, СО and generator gas, containing 33% CO and 67% of nitrogen. During the initial stages of the reduction the gases activity decrease in accordance with the given above number. It is studied the influence of iron oxides surface blocking by carbon being formed as a result of methane and carbon monooxide conversion upon reduction processes. The deposition of carbon in these mediums is intensified when reduction degree achieves more than 70%. The thermodynamic dependencies of oxides reduction degree upon partial pressures relation Рсо2|Рсо is given. It is noted high sensitivity of Fe3O4  and FeO reducing reactions to the change СО2 content.
