Abstract

The effect of tin on the structure, phase composition and mechanical properties of eutectic alloy of the Ті—Si—В system is studied. An increase of the RT plasticity of Ті— 6,4Si—0,5 В cast alloy with addition of 5-wt. Sn in two times is established. It is shown that growing of the tin concentration up to 12-wt. leads to an increase of strength and heat resistance of cast Ті—Si—В alloy but a low-temperature ductility practically does not rise.
