Abstract

The structure of cubic boron nitride powders obtained by high temperature shock compression method was studied by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscipe. These powders show a nanocrystalline structure with high level of microstrains. According to TEM the grain volume distribution for different samples have two peaks.
