Abstract

Research of the influence of the cooling rate on the structure and hardness of new cast eutectic (α-Al+Mg2Si) alloy of the ternary system Al-Mg-Si has shown, that eutectic structure remains till cooling rate of 104 K/c. Transition from laboratory ingots in weight of 200 g to the industrial ingots in weight of 20 kg under corresponding conditions of cooling practically does not influence on the level of mechanical properties.
