Abstract

The accounts of dependence of Gibbs potential from temperature for different reactions of BN synthesis are carried out. As a result of research of process of synthesis of BN coatings on a SiC nanofibers surface by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) a technique of formation of coverings from not toxic initial materials was developed. It was determined, that optimum temperature of synthesis is 1300 0С. The investigation of BN/SiC nanocables by transmission electronic microscope has shown that the thickness of coatings makes 10-20 nanometers, and the generated layer is h-BN.
