Abstract

The effect of hot pressing temperature on the mecanical properities of powder titanium is studied. The maximum proporties are demonstrated by titanium samples pressed at 910 °С. Fine-grained structure with grains 2–5 µm in size forms under these pressing conditions. This permits 25% increase in strength of the material as compared wtih conventional titanium.
