Abstract

Bioceramics based on nanocrystalline powder of composition (% (тої.)) 95ZrO2—2CeO2— 3Y2O3 was designed. The nanocrystalline powder was produced after hydrothermal treatment in the alkaline medium of the co-precipitated hydroxides bland. Low-temperature phase stability of the composite was determined by aging in an autoclave under hydrothermal conditions at 140 °С for 7 hours. It was shown that phase composition and strength of ceramics were not variated after hydrothermal treatment. It was found that a specially designed chemical composition provides long-term phase stability of composite and determines the stability of the implant to aging in corrosive medium of a living organism.
