Abstract

The liquidus surface of the Al2O3―TiO2―Y2O3 phase diagram is constructed of the first time. The liquidus surface is consists there are eleven fields of primary crystallization of the phases of TiO2, H-, C-crystalline modifications Y2O3 and α-AT, β-AT, AL, YT2, F, Y3A5, YA and Y2A phases. Six four-phase invariant eutectic equilibria, one four-phase invariant transformation equilibrium, and five threephase invariant eutectic equilibria are found. The maximum temperature on the surface of the liquidus in the system studied is 2440 ºC and it corresponds to the melting point of Y2O3 compound. The minimum temperature on the surface of the liquidus in the system is 1550 °C and it corresponds to three-phase eutectic Е6.
